| The Shelter Development Committee has been working for
the past three years to develop a campground design manual. You are welcome

Camp_Manual.pdf 50 kb Camp_Manual.doc 83 kb On May 8, 2001, the Shelter Development Committee made its first public announcement of plans to create a nonprofit campground in Jackson County, Oregon. The announcement was made at the County Commissioner's public hearing on the codification of a homeless camping law. The commissioner's were very supportive. We hope to have a campground up and running by the end of 2002. We are also very realistic and are prepared to wait as long as necessary to make this a legal and socially acceptable development for our community.
